Keivo Wins BBNaija Week 9 Head of House — Barry’s Secret Veto Sends All 10 Housemates to the Finale

Keivo is the Week 9 Head of House — and Barry has quietly sent every remaining housemate to the Big Brother Naija Season 11 finale. Keivo won Monday night’s challenge, then Big Brother handed Barry an envelope with two choices: Immunity For All, or Immunity For None. Barry picked Immunity For All, and Biggie told him to keep it secret. All ten housemates are now the “Show Ya Sef Top 10”.

Confirmed: the Head of House result and Keivo’s loft pick are reported by Tribune and the official Big Brother Naija site. Barry’s Immunity For All choice is from the official site’s own Day 57 report, which says his decision “quietly secured a place in the finale for every remaining housemate”. The housemates have not been told, and the nomination results go out on Sunday’s live show.

Is there an eviction this Sunday?

Not by the official account. Big Brother ran the nomination process on Monday and told the house it was complete, but Barry’s envelope had already made everyone immune. Africa Magic says the results will be revealed on Sunday, 27 September. Expect a reveal show rather than an exit.

One caveat worth keeping: this is Big Brother. Nothing is settled until Ebuka says it on air.

How Keivo won Head of House

Monday’s challenge was a four-game course with a 15-minute clock. It came down to “Slow and Steady”, a stacking game where the tower had to stay standing. Most of the house could not finish it. Keivo did, and took the highest overall score.

It is a straight reversal of last week, when Keivo lost the final round of the Head of House games to Barry. He picked Aikou as his loft mate. Oyin is this week’s bench warmer.

What Barry actually chose

Barry won the Ultimate Veto Power with his Week 8 Head of House title, and Biggie said at the time it would reach into this week’s nominations too. It did, in the biggest way available.

The envelope offered two options and nothing in between. Immunity For None would have stripped protection from everyone, Keivo’s Head of House title included. Immunity For All does the opposite: nobody can be voted out, and by the official site’s reading, every one of the ten is through to the final.

Barry was already the season’s first finalist. He has now taken nine other people with him, and he has to sit on it until Sunday.

The Show Ya Sef Top 10

Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. Twenty-four housemates entered on 26 July; twelve have been evicted, Neche walked in Week 3 and Nomy was disqualified in Week 7.

Week 9 in the house so far

The wager theme is Legacy, with each housemate writing a monologue called “This is my legacy”. Presentation is Thursday.

Monday also brought the season’s nastiest row. Keivo and Oyin went at each other after a morning pool session, and it got personal on both sides, with each dragging the other’s parents into it. Tram tried to separate them and failed. Keivo later told Aikou he had gone too far and would apologise in front of the house.

What happens next

Thursday, 24 September: wager presentation. Friday: Arena games, where Keivo is on a two-week streak. Sunday, 27 September, 7pm WAT: the live show and the nomination reveal. The finale is still set for early October, with no date announced.
