Nomy is out of Big Brother Naija Season 11 — disqualified, not evicted. Big Brother revoked her participation privilege on Monday night, 7 September, during the Week 7 live nominations, citing repeated defiance of his instructions, rules and punishments. She is the first housemate removed on disciplinary grounds this season and the ninth to leave the Show Ya Sef house.

The final breach was the Benchwarmer punishment. Nomy finished last in Monday’s Head of House challenge, which meant a week on a designated bench in a bench warmer’s vest. She left both the bench and the vest behind. Biggie put her in the hot seat during the nominations show, reminded her that participation is a privilege, and then took it away. She was given 30 minutes to pack and leave.
It did not come out of nowhere. Nomy picked up the season’s first strike back in Week 2, on 9 August — Biggie called it her “last and final warning”. Some of the Benchwarmer restrictions were later relaxed after she apologised, but the cautions kept coming: lateness, disobedience, and skipping mandatory activities.
Nomy — Whitney Chukwu, 26, a fashion designer and entrepreneur from Anambra State — has since spoken on an X Space, thanking her supporters and saying she would have played differently had she known how much support she had outside the house. The breaches, she said, were not intentional.
What it means for the week: the house is down to 15. Nomy was never on the Week 7 block anyway — as bench warmer she sat out the red-envelope nomination twist.
