Vote before 9pm tonight
If you are reading this on Friday before 9pm WAT, the official vote is still open. Go to africamagic.tv/bigbrother or open the MyDStv or MyGOtv app, pick your finalist, and allocate your votes — the website gives up to 100 free votes per person, and the apps give more depending on your package. Step-by-step on our how-to-vote page.
Keivo is no longer on the list. Votes cast for him before his disqualification on Tuesday do not count.
What the winner gets
The headline figure is ₦160 million, the biggest prize in BBNaija history. The cash part started at ₦100 million and, after the deductions for failed wagers and punishments, the official Most Influential Player page shows ₦10 million has moved into the MIPOW pot. Brand Times reports the winner’s cash at ₦90 million plus a brand-new car, with the balance of the package in other prizes. The MIPOW pot is shared among the weekly winners.
How the final week has gone
Monday, 28 September: Barry won the last Head of House, Bluethopia joined him in the loft and Flora took the bench. Each finalist pitched for two minutes on why they should win. That night, the shirt argument between Keivo and Tram turned physical.
Tuesday, 29 September: Keivo was disqualified at about 4pm. The house then played the Shaltoux task in teams — Sheba, Oyin and Tram’s “Team Warming Relief” won on 41 points — and ended the night watching their own audition tapes, with Biggie’s feedback on whether they kept their promises.
Wednesday, 30 September: Ricky asked Sheba to be his girlfriend for one year, arguing she would not want to leave by the time it ended. The evening was an awards ceremony with KellyRae and The Rae Nations Band performing. Barry told the house Keivo’s exit hit him hard because he had believed everyone would reach Sunday.
Thursday, 1 October: Independence Day in the house — green-and-white merch, a karaoke task with two songs assigned to each housemate, a special Independence dinner with live performances, and the last pool party of the season. Tram told Oyin she was his favourite person in the house; Aikou was in tears late in the night.
How to watch the finale
Live from 7pm WAT on Sunday on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv 151) and Africa Magic Family (DStv 154); the 24/7 feed stays on DStv 198 and GOtv 49 until the house closes. Legal streaming is through DStv Stream and GOtv Stream only — details on how to watch.
