Keivo has been disqualified from Big Brother Naija Season 11 for physical violence, five days before the finale. Big Brother announced the decision on Tuesday, 29 September, after a Monday-night argument with Tram over a black shirt turned into a fight. Nine finalists remain for Sunday’s finale, and Keivo’s name has been removed from the official voting list.

Confirmed: the disqualification is on the official Big Brother Naija site’s Day 65 report, and in BellaNaija, The Sun, Legit.ng and The Telegraph Nigeria. The shirt dispute is reported by BellaNaija and The Sun.
What Big Brother said
At about 4pm on Tuesday, Biggie called the housemates to the lounge and told them Keivo was out “following an incident last night that escalated from a disagreement into physical violence.” He named Keivo “the perpetrator of the violent act.”
His words, from the official report: “No disagreement, accusation or personal grievance justifies violence,” and “violence is never an option.” He added that “considerable leniency had been shown throughout the season” — a line the house will remember, given Nomy’s disqualification in Week 7 came after repeated warnings.
How the fight started
BellaNaija and The Sun both trace it to a black shirt. On Monday night Tram accused Keivo of taking his shirt. Keivo denied it, said he owned a similar one, and refused to be called a thief on national television. Words got harsh, then it turned physical.
Biggie issued a freeze command and sent in the Ninjas to separate them. The Sun reports Keivo threw the first punch and that three Ninjas later escorted him out through the storeroom; we have not seen that sequence confirmed elsewhere, so treat the detail as The Sun’s account. Legit.ng, citing viewer accounts, adds that Keivo had been agitated earlier that evening after a tense Diary Room session.
What it means for Sunday
Keivo was Week 9 Head of House, Week 8 Most Influential Player, and had won the Arena Games two weeks running. He leaves as the second housemate disqualified this season, after Nomy. BellaNaija reports his profile was pulled from the official voting list immediately, so votes already cast for him do not count — the official site’s own finale pages now list nine names.
The nine: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. Barry, who sent the whole house to the finale with Immunity For All, told the others on Wednesday that he “genuinely believed everyone would make it to Sunday.”
Voting closes Friday, 2 October, at 9pm WAT; the finale is Sunday, 4 October, 7pm WAT. The full exit list is on the eviction tracker. Our winner poll is now down to nine — a fan poll, not the official vote.
