Neche has walked out of Big Brother Naija Season 11. The Week 3 Head of House announced her voluntary exit to the housemates shortly after Sunday night’s live eviction show — gathering them in the lounge, removing her microphone and name tag, and heading to the diary room to complete the process. She gave no reason for the decision.
It is the most surprising departure of the season so far. The 25-year-old lawyer, full name Chinaecherem Maduagwu, was coming off arguably the strongest week any housemate has had: she won the Head of House games, held immunity, used her veto to put Gerard on the block, and presided over the house’s first wager win. Confirmed: her exit was reported by Vanguard, Tribune, The Nation, Legit and Blueprint.
Her departure came barely an hour after Kamsy’s eviction on the same night, and it leaves the house noticeably thinner. Twenty housemates now remain — eighteen still competing for the ₦160m prize, plus Gambit finalists Flora and Aikou, who are locked into the finale but can’t win the money.
Housemates were visibly emotional as she left, and fans online have floated theories that the walkout could be a Biggie twist. Rumor — unverified: there is no confirmation of any twist, and nothing official from the show’s organisers on her reasons yet. We’ll update if Biggie or Neche speaks.
