Gerard is out of Big Brother Naija Season 11. Ebuka announced the eviction on Sunday night’s live show, 6 September — the only exit of the night from a Week 6 block of fifteen. He is the seventh housemate evicted by public vote and the eighth to leave the house, counting Neche’s voluntary exit. Sixteen housemates went into Week 7.

Gerard — Gerard Adebija, 23, an OAP, actor and radio host from Lagos — leaves a week after coming within one round of the Head of House title. He lost the Week 6 final to Abi, who became the first woman to win HoH twice this season. On stage he told Ebuka he was not entirely surprised: he had half-expected his name to be called.
The Week 6 theme was “The Switch”, and it switched plenty. Flora and Aikou were told their Gambit status is over — no more guaranteed finale seats; they are back in the ordinary race with everyone else. Barry took Most Influential Player of the Week, the fifth winner this season, with BB Bucks and an air fryer — but, for the first time, no immunity. The house did win its wager, under Oyin’s leadership.
Ebuka closed the night with a warning to the house after a week of camp-versus-camp quarrels — the “Locals” (Flora, Oyin and Nomy) against the “Extended Family”, sparked by Temi Nkem’s earlier “local birds” remark: stop bringing families into fights.
