Abi and Araga Evicted From BBNaija Season 11 — Week 7 Double Eviction Leaves 13 in the House

Abi and Araga are out of Big Brother Naija Season 11. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the Week 7 double eviction on Sunday, 13 September, ending Abi’s run as the season’s only two-time female Head of House and Araga’s after his romance with the already-evicted Goddessa. Thirteen housemates remain.

Confirmed: reported by Premium Times, Leadership, Pulse, BellaNaija and P.M. News, and aired on the Sunday live show.

Who was evicted in Week 7?

Abi (Abisola Ayoola, 25, model and chef from Osun State) and Araga (Oluwaseyifunmi Sosanya, 29, fashion model from Ogun State) polled the fewest votes from a block of thirteen. They are the eighth and ninth housemates evicted by public vote this season, and the third double eviction after Week 2 and Week 5. Official vote percentages were not read out; we will add them if MultiChoice publishes them.

The block was Abi, Aikou, Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Yusuf. Tram, the Week 7 Head of House, and Keivo, who found the one “SAFE” envelope on nominations night, were immune.

Abi: two HoH crowns, one exit

Abi won Head of House in Week 4 and again in Week 6, the first woman to take the title twice in one season. She added Most Influential Player of the Week in Week 4. None of it counted on Sunday: HoH immunity lasts one week, and Week 7’s red-envelope twist left her on the block like everyone else.

Araga: the Goddessa storyline ends

Araga’s season was defined by Goddessa, from the first on-screen kiss of Season 11 to her eviction in Week 5. He stayed two more weeks. Ebuka’s exit interview kept to the usual questions about the house and the romance; no strikes or sanctions were involved.

Week 7 wrap

The house lost its wager on Thursday and Keivo won Friday’s Arena Games, with Chimsom Chuka second. Vanguard reports Aikou took Most Influential Player of the Week on the live show, collecting Biggie Bucks and a betPawa spin prize. Nomy’s disqualification on Monday means Week 7 cost the house three people in all.

Who is still in the house?

Thirteen: Aikou, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem, Tram and Yusuf. Head of House games and nominations follow on Monday, 14 September.
